Oops, Apple made another 16GB iPhone

Tech Journalists don’t realise this but on average a person has just about *25 third party apps* (1) on his phone. 16GB is enough storage for those people. They can definitely do with a greater storage option but if that means increasing the cost of the phone, then perhaps its not worth the increase in space.

On the contrary, only 5GB of Basic iCloud Storage is outrageous. Can’t backup new phones, which leads to a poorer UX. Not 16GB storage.

There’s a massive difference between how a power user, a teenager and a 50 year old use their phone. Not every storage option is for everyone.
